This is it. This one game was and still is... an unstoppable force. After 25 years, this game is still making the ground it walks on quake. This is the FIRST TIME... EVER... we see Sonic at it running down Dr. Robotnik.

The difficulty is no different from the original version of the game. Labyrinth Zone and the 6 special stages are still really tough. Green Hill Zone is much more enjoyable on this version of the game, ironically. Now the music can be heard in whatever way, which I love. When this game is accessed on AirPlay? Oh god, that automatically shoots my review to 5 stars.

Unexpectedly, this game speaks to the masses. This didnt happen in original ports of this game. It speaks in every way. For one, now you can play Sonic in every location in the world. Collecting the chaos emeralds was seen as impossible in this game. However, this game has the emeralds speak to the player. That player gets the 6 on their first try and finally unlocks Knuckles. If I could rate this higher, I would.

You think you have the best game ever? It was made last week. Step up to the real world and play some Sonic the Hedgehog. You may not think this is the best game ever, but you have a new template and philosophy.
