Sonic The Hedgehog Classic App Reviews

Everything from the main menu, gameplay, music, and the levels are awesome. Im only three levels in and I love everything about the app. I never played the original but this app allowed me to experience that. SEGA did a great job on this app and I assume they did great on Sonic 2. I recommend this app to Sonic fans, retro gamers and people who are looking for a challenge.

1. Spin dash. Good job 2. Save mode. Nice one 3. Graphics. Bang on 4. Controller. Good 5. Character select. Perfection 6. Super Sonic... Error detected How do you go super sonic? Ive collected all 7 chaos emeralds on all 3 of my profiles but I never figured that out and Ive beaten the game 3 times to no avail. But overall this and Sonic 2 are enjoyable please do Sonic 3 and Knuckles

Everybody is acting around about the super sonic, well you cant, because your only collecting 6 in the game, and super sonic was introduced in sonic 2, look at the instructions.

I cant believe there are sega genesis sonic games on iOS!!! Add sonic 3 and you can take my money!!!!

This game is super fun! Exactly as I remember it tom growing up in my SEGA Genesis console. Only one complaint-- the controls are a bit techy. Could you please make an adjustment where the sensitivity of the controls could be adjusted? I feel that would make everything perfect, as currently its a bit too sensitive for my fingers.

I have had fun with this game so for but marble zone act 3 is just freakin impossible. Cater killers are in hard to kill spots, the controls are not good enough to get through the last part and the fact that there are only 2 post is not good enough there is still the cater killer placement.

This game began it all. When Sonic was great and revolutionary because of its mind blowing speed. Just like the original with a few improvements. Great job SEGA, great job Sonic Team.

Best sonic game ever Can you put Sonic 3 and knuckles on AppStore also

We play this on our 55inch 4K curved screen TV and it looks AWSOME!! We use MFI game controller as well and it plays just like the "good old days". You definitely get a good value for your money.

This game is very good. I have played and replayed it many times. But the reason Im irritated is because in this game. If you beat the game with sonic. You unlock tails. Then play the game with tails and you unlock "sonic and tails" but... I have beaten sonic 1 with every character and I have earned all the Chaos Emeralds with every character. But for some reason it isnt unlocking knuckles! I go to the character select and his picture is black. And yes technically I have 18 Emeralds. Please fix this glitch so I can unlock knuckles! I have unlocked him in previous playthroughs. But now I fear I may have to replay sonic 1 with "sonic and tails" and I will if I must but I rather wouldnt

All in all the game itself is just like the original which is great fun. However, these controllers are not very good. Can we get an option for it to just like the old Sega handset? You know, A & B and then just the 4 directional pointers? I feel like that would make it better. Right now Sonic is kind of going all over the lax and Im spending more time trying to get him where I want him than focusing on anything else.

The game is an all time classic and its really awesome to see it here but if u play it youll realize that the way they designed the console doesnt work for touch screens!!

This is a very good game but it is also challenging and it is also harder to use buttons on a touch screen then using real button it is totally worth the money and a great game!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The game is great, its the Sonic you remember, with ability to redo an act after losing all lives. The major problem is the controls. Levels Id be zipping through on my old Sega controller (or Wii) are now really challenging. Its tough to make the precise moves you need to do to avoid spikes, lava , etc. I find that im missing platforms and running into everything because controls are so sloppy. ( played on iphone 6).

This is a great game and anyone who wants to roll around at the speed of sound should get this game but one thing PLEASE PUT SONIC 3 AND KNUCKLES ON THE APP STORE I WILL BYE IT THE SECOND I CAN thanks for the great sonic games over the years sega (except sonic 06 and sonic boom)
