That pretty much sums it up.

This is a very easy way to go Super Sonic without getting all the chaos emeralds by beating the game. THIS REALLY WORKS!!! In No Save Mode, when SEGA appears, press each letter once, then a Ring sound effect will play, then press the screen with 2 fingers, then swipe up,now in the Zone Select Screen change the Chaos Emeralds to 7 then on Sound Test Play sounds 4,1,2,6 and youre done! You can also go into Debug Mode by playing the following sounds:1,9,9,1,0,6,2,3

I have only been playing for 10 minutes and Im already regretting it because every time I jump it pauses.

... The controls! I hate the controls, the theme and structure is fantastic but this game is defiantly lacking when It comes to controls. The levels took me back to the kid days but unfortunately the controls get so frustrating I just end up exiting the game...

Get a controller or dont even bother buying this. I gave it two stars for the amazing music of the first area. Didnt get past that because its too frustrating trying to control a game like this on a phone. I should have known that going in but didnt think of it before buying it. I question the legitimacy of the overall rating because theres no way people enjoy this with the garbage controls.

Same what that other person said when you press all four letters of sega but once the game pops up you see stage select and what items you want on the acts 1-3 most importantly if you play as sonic you can have the one move that sonic morphs a shield around him in a ball for one second

This game is why SEGA was a threat to Nintendo back then.The level design is fantastic, each of the different playable characters make you think different, and all the different mechanics are great. If you played this game back in 1991, this is a great remake and I suggest you try it out. if youve never played a Sonic game before, I would recommend this game as it has aged well and has great replay value.WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS REVIEW?GET IT NOW!

You cannot play this game with those controls...

Its worth the money but game on iOS

Im 12 and Im a lot more used to playing games like super Mario Brothers without these old retro graphics. The game is still really fun and I love playing it. But I would prefer Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom.

This game is great. I love how you can unlock Tails and Knuckles. SEGA did a good job on this.

Can you please get Sonic Spinball and the original Sonic and Knuckles on app too? That would be greeeeaaat....

This is it. This one game was and still is... an unstoppable force. After 25 years, this game is still making the ground it walks on quake. This is the FIRST TIME... EVER... we see Sonic at it running down Dr. Robotnik. The difficulty is no different from the original version of the game. Labyrinth Zone and the 6 special stages are still really tough. Green Hill Zone is much more enjoyable on this version of the game, ironically. Now the music can be heard in whatever way, which I love. When this game is accessed on AirPlay? Oh god, that automatically shoots my review to 5 stars. Unexpectedly, this game speaks to the masses. This didnt happen in original ports of this game. It speaks in every way. For one, now you can play Sonic in every location in the world. Collecting the chaos emeralds was seen as impossible in this game. However, this game has the emeralds speak to the player. That player gets the 6 on their first try and finally unlocks Knuckles. If I could rate this higher, I would. You think you have the best game ever? It was made last week. Step up to the real world and play some Sonic the Hedgehog. You may not think this is the best game ever, but you have a new template and philosophy.

Great remake, but, for some reason the Sound Test isnt working... Pressing the button simply skips the sound number ahead (for example, if Im on track 1, pressing play simply takes me to track 10) but doesnt actually play anything, meaning I cant access debug mode.

Good game but when I go on level select wont work because when I press the play button for a number it changes the digit to a ten! Can you please fix it. That would be great if you can

Awesome game! Please fix the Sound Test mode, it wont play the songs, it just changes the number of the songs instead. This means we cant access Debug Mode or Super Sonic mode. Also, please release this version of the game on a console or handheld system (or even Steam) so we can play with a controller on a bigger screen. Thanks!
